# Reset Moto Reminders

Reset Moto Reminders is an unofficial, noncommercial source-available motorcycle diagnostic application for Android and iPhone. Its narrow purpose is to read diagnostic trouble codes and reset the service reminder on explicitly validated motorcycle profiles.

## Verified compatibility

- Test motorcycle: Triumph Tiger 900 GT Pro, model year 2021.
- Declared model range: Triumph Tiger 900 GT Pro, 2021–2023, subject to the exact module/profile checks enforced by the app.
- Tested adapter: vLinker MC+.
- Android transport: Bluetooth Classic to vLinker MC-Android.
- iPhone transport: Bluetooth Low Energy to vLinker MC-IOS.
- Dashboard read, engine DTC read and service-reminder reset are physically validated through the project app.
- DTC clear is marked Beta and awaits controlled hardware validation.
- Android v0.8.0 is the first signed release build.

## Scope

The main app reads the TFT odometer and compatibility fingerprint, reads confirmed engine DTCs, clears DTCs only after confirmation, and sets the next-service distance/date. It does not flash firmware, edit ECU maps, tune the engine, change emissions settings, code an immobilizer, run actuator tests, fuzz commands or expose an arbitrary diagnostic console.

## Important qualifications

This project is not affiliated with Triumph Motorcycles. Similar ECU suppliers or TFT hardware do not prove compatibility. Clearing a DTC removes diagnostic evidence but does not repair the fault. Resetting a reminder does not perform maintenance. The software comes with no warranty.
